April 19 Arzhanov Artem (3rd year graduate student of MPSU, engineer and M.sc . ISAN and vc. M.sc . TOP FLAT) and Ksenia Atinskaya (3rd year student of PSU, fan technician) took part in the XXIX International Scientific Conference of Students, postgraduates and Young Scientists “Lomonosov-2022”.

Arzhanov Artem made a presentation at the optics section on the topic “Spectral-luminescent diagnostics of melting of metallic dendritic nanostructures with CdSe/CDs/ZnS quantum dots”. The article demonstrates a method for diagnosing the melting of dendritic structures under local laser heating. A solution of quantum dots (CT) was applied to a substrate with dendrites. After evaporation of the solvent, the CT was adsorbed on the branches of the dendrites. A spectrometer was used to record the dynamics of changes in the luminescence spectrum from CT on dendrites at different laser excitation powers.

Ksenia Stinskaya took part in the section “The future of the planet and global environmental changes” (subsection “Alternative energy materials”) with the report “Application of ZnO nanowires in solar cells”. The prospects of using semiconductor nanowires as an electrically conductive material in solar cells are considered and a method for synthesizing ZnO in the pores of a track membrane is developed.
