Topic of the report: “The influence of the immediate environment of nanostructures on their optical properties”
Abstract: The results of experimental studies of the optical properties of semiconductor systems – nanoobject (quantum wells, nanoparticles, etc.) and its immediate environment are presented. Studies have shown that when the particle size decreases to nanoscale, the following process becomes essential during photoexcitation: light is absorbed by a nanoobject, then the excitation is transmitted to the immediate environment of the nanoparticle, where recombination with photon radiation can occur. It turned out that such a process is observed in many materials containing nanoobjects.
