Lecture by A. Naumov became a finalist of the RAS competition

On February 19, the Russian Academy of Sciences awarded the laureates and finalists of the competition for work on the popularization of science.

At the meeting of the Commission on the Popularization of Science, the Russian Academy of Sciences held the awarding ceremony for the winners and finalists of the 2019 competition for the best works in the field of popularizing science in the following nominations: “The best popular science book”, “The best journalistic work on popularizing science”, “The best popular science video”.

The lecture series that was delivered at the IPTIS Moscow State Pedagogical University became the finalist of the award in the nomination “The best popular science video”.

For the video-lectures “Actual problems of optics and photonics”, “Nanoscopy, or how to see a single molecule” in the framework of the “University Saturdays” project, Andrei Naumov, head of the Department of Theoretical Physics at Moscow State Pedagogical University, was awarded by the finalist-diploma.
