Student workshop of the Department of Theoretical Physics named after Edward V. Shpolsky 20.11.23.

The workshop will take place on November 20th at 16:40
Address: Malaya Pirgovskaya st. 29/7 (IPTIS MPSU, auditorium 62)

The speaker: Olga O. Mazaeva, a 4th-year student of the “Fundamental Physics” (in English)

Scientific supervisor: Ph.D. in Physics and Mathematics, Senior Lecturer of the Theoretical Physics Department named after Edward V. Shpolsky, Anton V. Zalygin.

Topic: Structural characterization of nanoparticles formed by self-assembly of cyclodextrin derivatives using atomic force microscopy

Abstract: Atomic force microscopy (AFM) is a modern method for studying the geometric and mechanical properties of the surface of solid bodies. One of the important aspects of using AFM is its universality. There is a problem with the poor solubility of chemotherapeutic agents in water. One of the possible ways to solve this problem is the use of cyclodextrins.
