COOS-2023

In Kazan, from October 18 to 20, the XXVII Youth Scientific School “Coherent Optics and Optical Spectroscopy” was held, organized by Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University and the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan. This significant event brought together young scientists, academicians, and students to discuss topical scientific problems in the field of optics and spectroscopy.

The Youth Scientific School consists of a series of lectures and sectional reports on various topics, including nonlinear and coherent optics, optical spectroscopy of promising materials, coherent laser spectroscopy, problems of quantum optics, nanophotonics, and scanning probe microscopy.

Co-chairs of the program committee of COOS-2023:
• Miakzyum K. Salyakhov (Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan, President of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan, Professor of Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University)
• Andrey V. Naumov (Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Head of the Theoretical Optics Department of the Fyodorov Institute of Applied Optics, Head of the Department of Moscow Pedagogical State University, Head of the Department of the Institute of Spectroscopy of the Russian Academy of Sciences).
