December 14, 2022 in the conference hall of the Physics Institute named after Lebedev of the Russian Academy of Sciences held a landmark event for the editorial board of the journal “Izvestia RAS”. The Physical Series event is the first award ceremony for the authors of the best articles. Special certificates and memorable gifts were awarded to the author’s teams whose articles in the Russian and translated versions of the journal became leaders in the number of citations, views and downloads by the end of 2020, as well as articles awarded the honorary status of “Editors’ Choice” in 2020.
Andrey Vitalievich Naumov, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of TOP FIAN, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, in his speech spoke in more detail about the history of the journal, its place in Soviet and Russian scientific periodicals, the continuity of scientific generations and traditions.
