Topic: “Spatially ordered vortices in polariton condensates in optical traps”
Abstract: The report will present the results of a study of vortices spontaneously formed in polariton condensates when excited by non-resonant optical traps. The first part of the report will be devoted to the emergence of a vortex cell with topological charges oscillating at a GHz frequency when pumped by a beam with an annular intensity distribution. In the second part, a study of the vortex lattice formed by optical pumping of a semiconductor microresonator with an array of laser Gaussian spots will be presented.
