On February 27, 2024, another meeting of the Methodological Seminar of the university took place at MPSU, where Andrey V. Naumov – a doctor of physical and mathematical sciences, docent, professor at the Russian Academy of Sciences, full member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, head of the Theoretical physics department named after Edward V. Shpolsky, head of the laboratory of physics of advanced materials and nanostructures at the Institute of Physics, Technology and Information Systems at MPSU, and head of the LPI RAS, branch in Troitsk, had a talk “Fundamental science in a pedagogical university – an ideal tool for the propaedeutics of breakthrough technologies”.
