On February 29th, the award ceremony for the winners of the All-Russian essay championship “In Your Own Words” took place at MPSU.
Andrey Naumov, a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, professor and head of the Lebedev Physical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and head of the of Theoretical Physics Department named after Edward V. Shpolsky, participated as the chairman of the organizing committee of the Championship presenting the Russian Academy of Sciences.
In his welcoming talk, Andrey Naumov emphasized the importance of holding such interdisciplinary competitions that contribute to the development of creativity, introduce students to modern areas of science and technology, and facilitate an conscious choice of future profession.
