Kocharovsky, Foreign Member of the RAS G. Leuchs, Alexander G. Litvak, Andrew V. Naumov, Sergey V. Prants, Nikolay N. Rozanov, Igor I. Ryabtsev.

The co-chairs of the International Program Committee of the worksop:
Alexey A. Kalachev (Kazan Scientific Center of the RAS, Kazan Federal University) and Andrew V. Naumov (LPI RAS, MPSU, Institute of Spectroscopy of the RAS (ISAN)).
The scientific secretary was Kamil R. Karimullin (LPI RAS, MPSU, ISAN).
The local organizing committee was headed by Sergey V. Sazonov (National Research Center Kurchatov Institute).

“Samartsev Workshop” are a continuation of the remarkable series of international symposiums on photon echo and coherent spectroscopy (PECS) and international workshop on quantum optics (IWQO), which have been held in different cities of Russia from 1973 to 2021. This is truly a special event as it is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Professor Uno H. Kopvillem and the 60th anniversary of the publication of the first article on photon echo.

The organization and conduct of the event were traditionally carried out by an inter-institutional scientific team of researchers, graduates, and students from the LPI RAS (Branch in Troitsk), MPSU, ISAN, HSE University, Skoltech, and MSU.

As part of the Samartsev Workshop, there were held thematic sections of the following topics:

– Current problems in coherent, nonlinear, and quantum optics

– Anniversary section “Coherent and nonlinear optics. Photon echo and transition processes” dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Uno H. Kopvillem and the 60th anniversary of the publication of the first article on photon echo

– Quantum informatics. Quantum optical technologies
– Photonics. Interaction of radiation with matter
– Atomic optics and nano-optics
– Spectroscopy and microscopy of single quantum emitters
– Functional optical materials
– Medical photonics
– Poster session

Invited talks were given by leading scientists working in the field of quantum optics, including:
