The Russian Academy of Sciences in 2023 conducted 200 popular science lectures, seminars, and master classes at 73 basic schools of the Russian Academy of Sciences located in 28 regions of the Russian Federation. 59 professors of the Russian Academy of Sciences, corresponding members of the Russian Academy of Sciences, academicians of the Russian Academy of Sciences took part as lecturers, who held scientific and educational meetings aimed at popularizing the achievements of science and technology and increasing the prestige and attractiveness of science. Lectures by Corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences Andrei V. Naumov devoted to topical problems of optics and photonics, the method of detecting fluorescent objects using an optical microscope, were held with great success. In 2023, they were held in a number of Basic Schools of the Russian Academy of Sciences in Nizhny Novgorod, Izhevsk, Sochi and Kazan.
